Habitat

Hyacinth Macaws live in South America, mainly in Brazil's Pantanal, and also in Bolivia and Paraguay.
They prefer palm savannas and tropical forests where they can find their favorite food, the nuts of the acuri and bocaiuva palms.

Their diet mainly consists of palm nuts, seeds, fruits, and occasionally small plants.
